For something that grows underground and then yanked out via their hair, carrots sure are a cheerful colour.

The day I stop using a wallet with a velcro band on it, is the day I admit that I am in fact, over 25.

It has to happen one day.

#258: For The Greater Ease.

Along with being a functional procrastinator, I'm also quite a lazy person.

Actually I'm an incredibly lazy person.

However I'm an incredibly lazy person cursed with an aptitude for foresight.

What this means is that I often find myself taking steps into ensuring my laziness for future events.

What actually happens is that I'll expend more effort in my preparations than if I had actually just gone through with doing whatever I was trying to avoid itself.

I once constructed an entire system of ropes and pulleys out of LEGO around my bedroom so that I could open and close the door from my bed. Took weeks of building, testing, revising and fine tuning before I got it opening the door just so.

The door was one metre from my bed. The Goonies had a big effect on me.

#132: Twiddly.

Sometimes I think the fact that I can't sleep properly at night comes down to a simple case of sweaty toes. I need toe fans.

#107: Something New Everyday.

Today, I learned that the composer Chopin is pronounced "Show-Pan".

And not "Choppin'" in a cockney accent, as I've been hearing it in my head everytime I read it.

#37: In A World... Where One Man... Will Make A Difference...

Managed to keep this "At Least A Sentence A Day" thing going on just over a month now... and just browsing over previous entries, it looks like all those years in the video shop looking over the covers of 80's and 90's movie titles had quite a lasting effect.

They just don't name movies the way they used to.

#26: Split Personality

I can't chat online or write an email while watching a video at the same time, I have to pause the video everytime I want to type something. Though it's not so surprising that I'm a really awful multi-tasker. I am male after all - awesome focus in pursuit of a single goal, falls apart completely upon interruption by something cool and shiny. Like a new robot toaster from Japan.

There are only two things that I know of that I can do simultaneously while dividing my attention on something else. One is code. The other is gaming.

Does that mean I play like a girl?!

#4: Mondays. Eeeee!

The aim of these posts is not to write about what's on my mind in general, thats what tweets and diaries are for. But more about what, if anything, I've come to conclusion of by the end of that particular day.

At the end of today? The Christmas / New Years madness is over. Holy crap I haven't even thought about what happens after that.
