I've noticed on and off that I seem to have a tendancy to be able to adjust and adapt my personality to whatever social situation I'm in, more than most... since moving outta England this has become more prominent and developed into something of a survival trait. So much so that my Brit accent apparently wavers between out and out South London (init) to somewhere vaguely Euro/South African (wtf?!?!).
This handy hyper-adaptability super-power of mine does has some negative side-effects though - such as one particular time when working in Croydon, I actually came out with the line:
"Yo that film was da boom-lickity!"
yeesh. (>_<)
